Finance Manager, FP&A

Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) Right hand to CFO to create the FP&A function, implement Best Practices, hire, train and develop staff on FP&A tools, processes and business partnering. Lead cross-functional special projects (revenue recognition, new business, grant analysis & reporting, Product & Project P&Ls, SaaS pricing/KPIs, etc.).

Jointly responsible with Managing Director to deliver regional results (revenue, principal, transactions). Responsible for growth, P&L, plans/forecasts (Country/Channel/Agent), pricings/investments, HC/OPEX/CAPEX, new & renewal agent signings, agent commission optimization, agent incentives, process improvement, business reviews.

Analyzed and developed business cases (new markets, new products, new services…). Recommended growth opportunities accepted by Executive Committee. As interim management for new businesses/start-ups, led integration, designed and implemented new governance, managed P&Ls reported on variances and implemented corrective actions. Led international scorecard programs. Recruited, trained and managed international FP&A teams.

Responsible for Group and Business Unit corporate development activities. Business partner in strategy, commercialisation and negotiations with JVs. Led financial/market/competitor analysis and the development of business cases for Board approval. Selected to lead ChevronTexaco Merger Integration Synergy Team. Led deal support and participated in negotiations with alternative technology/renewable energy/R&D minority investment and JV partners ; 5 deals concluded ($5MM-$500MM).

Financial Analyst, Responsible for corporate forecast/plan, and financial merger integration including implementing new consolidation reporting system (Hyperion).

Responsible for $2M audit and business process re-engineering client engagement ; trained and supervised 5-member technical and functional team.
