Closing early 2010: 5200 M€ sales, 25% global market share and 70 plants over 4 continents.
Synergies delivered beyond the commitment announced to the market (80 M€ over 3 years).

Design and execution of a « lean management » deployment plan (Faurecia Excellence System Acceleration Plan): implementation in each plant of a quantified and calendarized Plant Improvement Plan, participation in a pilot project with Toyota over 3 years.

Continuous Improvement of industrial performance KPIs over two years: +30% in safety, +30% in quality, +6 % in net productivity, -18% in stocks.

  • Implementation of a PSE (redundancy plan) aimed at regrouping two plants onto one site. Positive EBIT achieved for this subsidiary in Q4 2007,
  • Resolution of a major crisis with the principal customer of the group (30% of sales) with the signing of an agreement and the return to profitability in February 2007.

    • Financial turnaround: in 2003 and 2000, quarterly budget targets exceeded seven times out of eight, and operating income increased by 12 points over 3 years,
    • CMM-I Certification: first Valeo division to obtain this award for software design quality.
    • Elaboration of a comprehensive marketing offer built around the Human Machine Interface functions in the cockpit, subsequently leading to the merger of 3 Valeo divisions into one.

  • Division Managing Director North America (20 M$ sales, 100 p), Toluca (Mexico) and Detroit (USA)
    • Start-up of a new division in the USA and Mexico, and achievement in 18 months of operational and financial performances among the 10 best of the group; zero defects shipped to customers over a period of 22 months
    • International negotiation of a claim: reimbursement of a significant amount of engineering costs (several M€) after the loss of the European part of a global platform latch order.

VALEO SECURITY SYSTEMS (650 M€ sales, 4000 p, 16 plants, 8 countries) : from 1995 to 1999

  • Branch Quality Director
    • Crisis management, technical, commercial and financial aspects: quick return to satisfactory levels of quality, minimisation of financial consequences.
    • Contribution to the “Valeo 5 Axes” design in the Total Quality chapter, and definition of a collective and standard method for analyzing and solving quality problems.
