• Initiated and led a Lean project aiming at improving productivity and customer service level by 20 %.

STRATEGIC BUSINESS PLANNING MANAGER (USA)

Reporting to the Emerson Executive Vice-President. Responsible for the business planning coordination of the Fisher-Rosemount international sales organization.

• Coordinated the development of strategic plans for the European, Asian and Latin American markets.
• Analysed synergies and valuation of potential business acquisitions.

PRODUCTION ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR (Belgium)

Reporting to the “Daikin Europe” Production Director. Head of the production engineering section in charge of the implementation of a major manufacturing expansion program.

• Led the implementation and the installation of 3 automated assembly lines and related material handling equipment ($10 million) with a team of 8 engineers and technicians
• Negotiated capital expenditure contracts with several suppliers.
• Led the implementation of Lean, TQC, TPM, ISO 9002 procedures in production.

PRODUCTION ENGINEER (Japan)

Production engineering department, Sakai Plant, Osaka.

• Developed a 3D computer model used to optimize automated material handling systems. Presented the results to the board of director and at the “Japan -USA symposium on flexible automation” in Kyoto
• Supervised Japanese subcontractors and led the commissioning of installations worth $3 million.
