In a context of unprecedented Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, I took the challenge of building and developing an innovative business into a leading market diagnostic company for remote biology testing in France, allowing for standardized and secure Covid-19 testing data traceability and offering a game changing solution for health professionals from an organisational perspective. Ultimately setting the ground for future biomarkers assets.

Key duties:

  • Chief Operating Officer: Set-up of the Paris office as the commercial hub for Magentine Healthcare. Responsible for the design and implementation of the business strategy and plans, and management of the daily operations of the company, including IT, Sales and Business Development, Marketing, Human Resources and Team Management.
  • Chief Financial Officer: Leading shareholding structuring and fundraising activities (i.e. financial business plan, dataroom management, legal documentation). Budget monitoring, cost control, financial reporting. Cash Management.

Key Achievements:

  • Acted as main partner (key decision maker) in building an impactful business and innovative company from scratch: Magentine Healthcare is a leading market diagnostic innovation company for remote biology tests in France (ca. 3 million supervised tests)

In the early days of Biodena Care, I brought my hands-on entrepreneurship and international experiences to expand the company commercial footprint in emerging markets and provide access for cancer patients to a breakthrough diagnostic innovation.

Key duties:

  • Regional Chief Operating Officer: Responsible for the deployment of an innovative cancer screening/diagnostic solution in MENA (Dubai) and Asia (Singapore). Negotiation of commercial partnerships with hospitals (public and private) and medical labs. Implementation of the supply chain process. Recruitment and mentoring of the Administrative, Commercial and Deployment teams.
  • Regional Chief Financial Officer: Budget monitoring, cost control. Cash Management. Implementation of financial reporting to the Board. Financial modelling lead and fundraising team member (Dataroom owner).
  • Mobile Application Product Owner: Led the development of a mobile application for the traceability of blood samples along the supply chain, including wireframes design and specifications / technical files. Risk management and QMS implementation.

Key Achievements:

  • Expansion of the company commercial footprint and set-up of 2 foreign entities (Dubai, Singapore) from scratch
  • Hiring and onboarding of 30+ FTE employees
  • 2 successful fundraising (Series A - undisclosed amount)
